We are a multi-cultural, multi-generational church. Our mission is to see people enter His Grace, Know His Love and Truly Live.
We believe the truth of God's grace transforms lives. We are not here to judge or point fingers. Jesus doesn't even do that, so why should we? We are here to show what authentic Christianity is all about in a way that is relevant to today's generation. The good news of the Gospel is perfect just the way it is, and we leave it that way. But you can expect our methods of delivering Christ's good news to be fun, exciting and passionate!

Pastor Phil's message from last Sunday is now available: “The Last Five Days” Pastor Phil's message on the last five days of Jesus' life before the cross. The love of God cannot be doubted with a crucified Christ. Enjoy! http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21366698 http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21366698

Pastor Shawn's message from last Sunday is now available: “Live INTO Not UP TO” The Kingdom of God is something that was and is near and dear to the heart of Jesus. Jesus preached the Kingdom, commanded us to seek first the Kingdom and taught us to pray - “Your Kingdom come.” When Jesus described the Kingdom, He never gave us a definition. He didn’t give us a list of rules and regulations. Instead Jesus would say, “The Kingdom of God is like,” and then He would tell a story. We see this over and over again in the gospels. We live in a world of standards all the while the unfolding story of the Kingdom is taking place. The Kingdom of God isn’t a standard to live Up To but it is the story of Christ to Live Into! Enjoy! http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21358355 http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21358355
Pastor Phil's message from last Sunday is now available: “From Death to Life” Pastor Phil shared an amazing message of what it means to live in the Spirit. It is the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives that awakens us and restores life in us. The Holy Spirit is in the process of resurrecting the Spirit of God within each of us. Enjoy! http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21354306 http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21354306
Pastor Shawn's message from last Sunday is now available: “You're Going To Catch On Fire” The imagery that we get in the scriptures of God is this all consuming fire but its important that we understand that the nature of God is love. God loves you just the way you are but He loves you too much to leave you the way that you are. God is doing a good work in each of our lives and that good work is always about perfecting His love in us, which isn’t always a pleasant process. As we are practicing God’s presence, we are welcoming His refining process in our lives that gives purpose to the problems that we face. Enjoy! http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21350079 http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21350079
Pastor Shawn's message from last Sunday is now available: “Presence or Perfection” Sometimes our ability to know God's presence in our lives is limited by our struggle for perfection. In Matthew 5:48 Jesus said, that we are to be perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect. But something we often fail to see is that this verse is in the context of not just loving your neighbor but loving your enemy. God's idea of perfection always exist around the way we love. We often see perfection according to the standards that humanity sets. Perfection is a journey and we all have a long way to go. So relax! Stay real. Be honest. Be vulnerable. God gives grace to the humble. Its the proud He knows from afar. Enjoy! http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21346901 http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21346901

Pastor Phil’s message from last Sunday is now available: “For Those Who Never Heard” The Bible teaches that the Gospel continues to be preached in death. (1 Peter 4:6, Romans 14:9, & more!). God is absolutely good and good all the time. God is love! The Judge we have is a good & loving Father and the Son is our advocate. We preach the Gospel in life so that people can be reconciled with God and have abundant life - a life that is truly life with a freedom to be truly free. We preach the Gospel so that people will know they are loved and valued by God. Enjoy! http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21338121 http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21338121

This Sunday - "Practicing God's Presence" part III...coming to a Gateway Church near you! Bring Friends!!
Prayer Tonight at the Bridgewater Campus!! Starts at 7:30pm!!
Pastor Shawn’s message from February 3rd is now available: Stay Here It’s wonderful to create a pattern in your life where you carve out time during the day to meet with God. Daniel had a pattern of meeting with God three times a day. Jesus had a pattern of meeting with God early in the morning. But in John 15 Jesus is offering His disciples something more than just coming and going, coming and going. Over and over again He invites them and us to abide, which basically means to stay. Where we need God the most is in our everyday activities and responsibilities. God doesn’t just exist at church or at home. His is omnipresent. He is always with you and we have been invited to not just come and go when it comes to His presence. We have been invited to stay. In this message Pastor Shawn lays out the foundation for what it means to practice God’s Presence. Enjoy! http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21324670 http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21324670
"The Best Is Yet To Come" Sermon by Pastor Shawn from January 6th, 2019. What are you believing or expecting for 2019? The Audio is a little different because it picked up some of the background noise. https://youtu.be/sUR5SL5DyLU
New Sermon Series by Pastor Shawn, "Practicing God's Presence" starting this week at Gateway Church. #Bringfriends
Pastor Phil's message from January 27 is now available: The Immanence and Omnipresence of God In Christianity we can talk a lot about the historical Jesus and the transcendent God but we can’t really relate to either. Jesus told His disciples that it would be better if He goes away because in doing so He would send the Holy Spirit who would be with us forever. The presence and power of God is with us through the Holy Spirit, always, but we don’t often live in a way that realizes the gift that we have been given. In this message Pastor Phil talks about the visitation, activation and habitation of the Holy Spirit. Enjoy! http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21320393 http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21320393
Pastor Phil's message from 1-20-19 is available: There are four dimensions of God that we know of and can explore. In this message Pastor Phil shares about the Transcendent God who is high and lifted up. In this message Pastor Phil also answers a tough question in Christianity today, “What happens to people who have never heard the gospel?” and dives deep to show us what the scriptures states. Enjoy! http://gatewaychurchnj.sermon.net/main/main/21317182
Pastor Phil's message "The Four Dimensions of God" is now available to watch! How do you relate to God? Is He off in a galaxy far, far away? Or do you relate to God as Jesus who lived 2,000 years ago? If so, you probably struggle to know him far off or in the past. The Apostle Paul wrote of a mystery, Christ in us and Christ in all things. God is much closer than you think. God is omnipresent and dwells in the hearts of every believer and our job is to learn to tap into the Christ who is all around and within. https://youtu.be/wM3zYcR_TqE

In the parable of the Sower, Jesus relates the 4 soil conditions to the condition of a person's heart. The condition of your heart is so important because it will determine the produce or fruit of your life. In this message Pastor Shawn shares about the soil with thorns and what it relates to. Enjoy!
God desires to produce something beautiful through your life. In Matthew 13 Jesus talked about four different types of soil and how they relate to the condition of a person's heart. The fruit or the produce of your life is determined by the soil or the condition of your heart. If the soil or the condition of your heart isn't right, then God is going to get it right because He knows our life gains purpose and meaning when we are fruitful. In this second addition to the Sower Series Pastor Shawn shares the meaning behind the soil Jesus refers to as Rocky Ground. Enjoy!
When it comes to gardening, the soil you plant your produce in is incredibly important. Jesus wants to produce something amazing through your life. In Matthew 13 Jesus shares a story about a sower who sowed seed in four different types of soil. Jesus then relates the types of soil to the condition of a person's heart. In this passage Pastor Shawn shares about the soil found on the path and why we need to protect our hearts from this type of condition. Enjoy!
Many of the Psalms David wrote reveal that he spent a lot of time waiting for God. Its as if God is going a bit too slow for David's taste. Why is it that God is never in a rush, especially when we need Him to be? And is it that we are really waiting on God or could it be that God is waiting on us? In this message Pastor Shawn shares how God is working while we are waiting.
